Padgett Gerler grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  Now she resides in North Carolina where she is a CPA and CFO of a Raleigh corporation.  Her novel, The Summer the Air Changed, is a coming-of-age story set in the Appalachian Mountains.  She is currently working on two novels, Now, Where was I? and Getting the Important Things Right.
